Main functionality

Configuration browsing: fast browsing of K+TP configuration through tree like structure with drill down functionality.
Significantly decreases time needed to visualize the configuration with all its dependencies and to identify eventual problems.

Search: ability to search configuration for all instances of given element or rule. These can be then further explored with all their dependencies through browsing functionality.
It’s possible and quick to check where given element or rule is used in configuration, and thus to know which parts of configuration will be affected if given element or rule is modified. No surprises.

Configuration comparison: configuration of two separate K+TP environments can be compared.
Comparison of two separate K+TP instances (ex. production system and development system) is made simple and differences can be closely analyzed in friendly graphical interface. Identification of parts of configuration that should be migrated is instantaneous.

Instant export: just one click is needed to export any element, any rule, and any part of configuration, or even whole configuration, with all their dependencies.
It is instantaneous to generate a zip file containing all selected elements and rules of any given part of configuration. This file is then ready for backup or direct import to another environment (prod environment or support team environment for instance).

In case of additional development on a K+TP project that is already live, combined use of configuration comparison and instant export fundamentally decreases time needed for migration from days to minutes, while increasing reliability of the whole process.

Technology

CIM is build on ICEFaces Technology 1.7.0 and is supported on Tomcat, Weblogic and Jboss application servers. (Check documentation for details)
